             Slovenia – information society?; Or how key development subjects respond
              
                 Abstract
                 The article presents the introductory discussion from a research about the effects of modern information-communication infrastructure on the spatial development of Slovenia. Development of the information society implies a series of consequences, brought about by economic, social and spatial changes and caused by the development and implementation of information-communication technologies. The subjects of development initiatives are presented in detail, as well as the necessary development actions that should be initiated to bring Slovenia into the information society.
